I paint to reveal inherent truths that lie just below the surface of flesh.
Revelatory in action and result, my paintings unearth breaths that I have forgotten or buried, insights both personal and public.
The pure experience of painting for me is meditative, dialogue-inducing, and life-altering.

I paint to see.
I paint to feel.
I paint to remind myself I am breathing.

The work that results changes and evolves over time, morphing and adapting to life.
Each painting is a visual journal suspended in space.
I intend for the work to open cerebral spaces for others to inhabit.
Physical remnants of my internal struggle, the images that splay on the canvas are at once filled with beauty and pain.
Continually searching for the courage to divulge my reality, it is my hope that others are able to glimpse their own truths.
